For over seven months now I've been out working to meet residents of Ward 6, knocking on doors, attending community events and information sessions on the big issues for Ward 6 communities.
This campaign is really about you, and Calgary.
My name is Esmahan Razavi and I am running in Ward 6 because I care about making sure that:
- Calgary stays the kind of city we want to live in
- Calgary is open for business and attracts investment from all over the world
- Our businesses are able to thrive and flourish
- We have a city government that makes pragmatic spending decisions and is fiscally responsible
- Ward 6 maintains the kinds of neighbourhoods we feel are safe for our children to play in
- Ward 6 communities are the kinds of communities we want to grow old in and
- Our city makes it possible to have kind of future we want to build not just for ourselves, but for our friends and families and neighbours
From all of the conversations I had with residents of Ward 6 over the spring and early summer our team developed a detailed platform of issues that are important to YOU.
As a mediator who runs her own mediation firm, I know how to bring people together to find common ground. I plan to use these skills every day to work with council to achieve the priorities of Ward 6 when you elect me your next city councillor on October 16.
